November 29, 2020 Matthew 13:34 Keep Watch!

Jesus is coming again: Physically, visibly, and certainly! We are called to be ready, vigilant, and to be alert.

We ask: “What are you waiting for, Lord? When are you coming? 2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not being slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”

He could come at any time. Are you ready? How are we to live until that time? We have a job to do until then, to tell the good news to all people. Keep watch with the help of the Holy Spirit!

Psalm 121 “He will not let you stumble the one who watches over you will not slumber indeed he watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps. The Lord himself watches over you, the Lord stands besides you as your protective shade.”

I Corinthians 3:9 “God will also keep you strong in faith to the very end. Then you will be without blame on the day our Lord Jesus Christ returns. God is faithful. He has chosen you to share life with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”
